**Pilgrimage Types (See side tabs for more information): |
Adult Volunteer Service: Adult volunteers must be in good health and between the ages of 18-65 to officially serve. A reference letter from a Priest or Pastor is required and all volunteers are expected to serve the Sanctuaries at Lourdes for 6 consecutive days. |
Youth Volunteer Service: Youth volunteers must be in good health and between the ages of 14-18. Except for the Juan Diego Youth Pilgrimage, all youth pilgrimages are only open to members of the specified parish or school youth group. |
Student Volunteer Service: Francis and Clare Pilgrimages is only open to Franciscan University of Steubenville students studying abroad in Gaming, Austria. Noel Chabanel Pilgrimage is only open to students from Notre Dame University, Holy Cross University and St. Mary's College. St. John's Pilgrimage only open to students and alumni from St. John's University. |
Special Needs Pilgrimage: An opportunity for sick, elderly, handicapped and special needs pilgrims to visit Lourdes with a physician escort and medical care assistance. |
